EDI TestBed Server is used to connect (and also to control) all the system components as well as to make it accessible in local and external network. Furthermore, it is responsible for booting all the routers.

The main Server duties are:

• Local and external network;
• Accessing TestBed from external network;
• Local network security;
• Possibility to control large numbers of routers;
• Booting process for all routers;
• Router discovery procedure.
